THE STUDIO
We designed and built this studio on our property with our own hands in the spring of 2024 and will be used for controlled light portraits as well as a prep space for our future wedding venue. We will also rent the space out to other creatives, so if that’s you please reach out!
This photo studio is thoughtfully designed to provide a space to do natural light portraits, witout the worry of inclement weather. With windows lining the entire south-facing wall, there is an abundance of natural light pouring in no matter the time of day. We are also continuing to grow our inventory of furniture and decor to create endless variety for any portrait type.
What are studio sessions?

These are no JCPenny photos here. Our whole 13 year career has been built on the natural: natural light, natural emotions, natural smiles, natural interactions.
We try to create an atmosphere that is comfortable and relaxing. We don’t pose and we don’t tell you to smile. We give soft and open-to-interpretation direction that allows you to show your natural tendencies, while still being in flattering positions.
We try, especially when kids are involved, to let things unfold first, and give direction second. We’d rather be on our toes and snag truly candid, or “in-between”, moments vs. over-directing and only taking pictures of the forced smiles!

Mini Session // 20 minutes
Ideal for small families or those just wanting a few photos to document the current stage of life. We have found that these shorter sessions are especially optimal for little kids with shorter attention spans.
75-100+ photos delivered via digital gallery.
Full Hour Session // 60 minutes
Ideal for larger families or couples looking to get more out of the experience. We try and be extra intentional about prepping specifically for these shoots and how to make them more personal.
